Game & Blockchain Development
November was a big month for Atlantis World – we finally launched the Alpha game featuring two maps, Atlantis Core and OP City!
We hosted live AMAs and conversations with team members from PoolTogether, 1inch, Perpetual Protocol.
Some numbers for impact:
In less than 48h after launch, Atlantis World had 5k+ registered players, after 72h that number reached 15k+.
To this day, 15k+ players minted the Optimism Pathfinder, reward for those who completed the OP Month special quest ‘Find the Path.’
A few highlights in development include:
Proactively crushing bugs as players reported them
Improvements to the broadcast system
Broadcasts held this month gave light to a few bugs that have since been fixed.
Improvements in syncing issues between members of a broadcast event.
Ability for speaker to flag the attendance of members, allowing them to redeem a POAP in-game.
Improvements to game servers
Numerous server optimisations to increase maximum player counts, as well as reduce bandwidth to and from players.
Added support for guest players, although this feature is not yet implemented.
First badge created
Atlantis World Pioneer badge for the first 11,111 players registered, which allowed only these users to participate in the quest to claim the Charmed Crystal Cluster.
And a few more things we can’t talk about just yet!
Thank you for reading and being part of the Atlantis journey!
